Conservation Status:

Extinct

Etymology:

Diagnosis:
Small varanopid eupelycosaur characterized by the presence of a large medial process of the postorbital that underlies the parietal and large nasal process of the premaxilla that forms a broad, expanded posterodorsal process. Differs from other varanopids in having simple conical, slightly recurved teeth, lacking maxillary dorsal process, lacking a lateral boss on the postorbital, and lacking excavation on the neural spines and arches.
