Diagnosis:
The coccygeal stalks short, the centrum widest posteriorly at the condyles, not strongly constricted near its anterior end.
The centrum of this rather large frog, has the following measurements, in millimeters: Length of the centrum and condyles, 4.9; width of centrum, 3.3; width at coccygeal condyles, 4.2; lateral width of the neural arch, 2.3; width of base of diapophysis (narrowest), 2.0; height of neural canal, 1.5; width of the neural canal, 3.1; total width of type specimen 10.0; estimated total width, 14.2.

Distribution:
Known only from the type locality. Rexroad member, upper Pliocene, locality 3, about 16 miles southwest of Meade, Meade county, Kansas.
